Well America, if you have been watching the Republican debates on TV, you know just how stupid some of the candidates are. Thank goodness we don't still have to listen to Herman Cain's BS or Michelle Bachmann's BS but there's still a lot to consider. Negative ad campaigns are running all over the tele, and a prominent question that the candidates have to answer in one way or another is what they will do regarding the war on terror. Once again, the only one who made any sense was Ron Paul. He noted that we cannot financially sustain two wars (FACT) and that there is not such a thing as the "war on terror" (FACT). Terrorism is a tactic, it is not a state, it is not a group of people. And suppose it were a state or group of people, Congress has not declared war on anyone (or thing or idea, I guess I have to mention, sadly) since WWII. We are fighting Islamic Extremists in Iraq and Afghanistan, and financing it with money we don't have. The greatest current threat to our national security is the economic situation, not fringe Islamic groups. Let's not forget, the Taliban is shattered. Al-Qaida is shattered. Yet most of your senators and congressmen and women passed the NDAA (look it up) after the fact. Now the government doesn't even need a reason to detain you, they can just detain you, indefinitely, without need to ever bring charges against you. I don't know about you, folks, but to me that is tyranny. And excuse my French but if Thomas Jefferson heard about this bill, he would have a fucking hissyfit, and for damn good reason.

Explanation
So I've decided to write about why my blog is called "The Dangerous Citizen" but first, I'll explain to you what the government thinks is an ideal citizen.
An ideal citizen, in the eyes of the Fed, (which are everywhere pal, lets face it) is one that keeps his head down and doesn't say anything. We live in the information age, and in the wake of this age the Federal government has become increasingly paranoid regarding the acts and views of its citizens. I don't know how each of my readers "leans" on the political scale, (as for me, rather than leaning left or right, I lean straight forward) but if you don't consider CNBC at least a somewhat credible news source, you're too dumb to be reading my blog. That being said, look at this article.

Yeah??? YEAH??? Time to wake up smell the coffee. The Federal Government has become so paranoid that they are approving watchdogs for social networking sites. And they think they are being sneaky about it too by saying it's just the Federal Reserve. Well I'm sorry to say that most ("ideal") citizens don't really know what the Fed. Reserve is. It's supposed to be just a centralized bank. Why would a bank be monitoring Facebook? "Oh we're just watching out in case some people are planning a heist." It's pretty clear that they are namedropping the Federal Reserve to curb public outcry. But it doesn't matter, because the Reserve is an arm of the Federal Government, and whatever information they farm via their watchdog is going into their permanent database.
"So what does this have to do with an ideal citizen?" You might ask. The government doesn't want its citizens to be reading any weighty literature. It doesn't want you to be writing anything of importance. It wants you to watch football and buy all of your goods at superstores, not private businesses. It wants you to be posting everything about your life on the internet so it can farm this information into its database.
So what if you like to exercise your rights? What if you like to be informed and help inform others? You are a possible terrorist. Look at this document the FBI issued to surplus stores:

Here we go!
Well America, the race is on. Our personal freedoms are a thing of the past. Networking and advertising companies are trading with our personal information without our knowledge. Example A: Facebook.
Now you needn't be a conspiracy theorist to understand what is going on with Facebook these days: they are farming not only our personal information, but our habits, likes/dislikes, traveling habits, etc... They are recording EVERYTHING about our lives. And the kicker is that they are making it seem fun to post it all on Facebook.
Why is Facebook making all these drastic changes to the interface so that we (often unknowingly) disclose gross amounts of our private information? Why do you think, America? To sell that information for profit. If you think otherwise, you are probably a simpleton. As we all know, money is the root of all evil. So is Facebook selling our personal information to marketing companies? You bet your ass they are.

"Ok, so they ARE selling our information," you say,"What am I supposed to do about it?" Great question, citizen! Delete your Facebook. I know you want it so you can talk to chicks and post pictures of you with your bro's, but delete it. When shit hits the fan and the Federal Government starts tracking everyone who they think might be educated (which they are already doing :0 ), they are going to know all of your habits, tendencies, fears, blah blah blah because they will have purchased all of this detailed information from Facebook. Think I'm wrong? Keep reading my blog and you will change your mind, I promise.
